ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw with Wittenberg in its 2025 home opener on a beautiful Wednesday evening.

The Basics

The Match

Wittenberg scored first off a corner kick, taking a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute.
ONU freshman Katie Sarkesian (Plymouth Township, Mich./Salem) scored unassisted in the 21st minute to tie the game up.
A goal from freshman Maddie Montgomery (Tipp City/Bethel), assisted by senior Haley Cannon (Oregon/Clay) in the 27th minute, gave the Polar Bears a 2-1 lead.
The Tigers scored again in the 40th minute to tie the game back up, 2-2.
Junior Morgan Moeller (Harrison/Roger Bacon) had one save in goal for ONU.
WU out-shot ONU 12-7 and had a 7-6 advantage in corner kicks.
