Women's Soccer advances on penalty kicks at Mount Union in OAC Tournament Quarterfinals

ALLIANCE — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team advanced in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament on penalty kicks at Mount Union on Tuesday afternoon.

The Basics

• The teams played to a 1-1 draw in regulation and two 10-minute overtime periods.
• ONU then advanced in the tournament on penalty kicks, 5-3.

• Freshman Maddie Montgomery (Tipp City/Bethel) scored off a throw in by sophomore Liz Woelfel (Cincinnati/Seton) in the 53rd minute.
