ADA — The Ohio Northern's women's lacrosse team top Chatham (Pa.) 10-9 in overtime on a cool Saturday afternoon.

- The Cougars responded in the second period with three goals but ONU would have a 4-3 lead heading into intermission.
- Hamilton opened the third period with two straight goals to give Northern a 6-3 lead.
- Hoersten found the net with 32 seconds left in the third to give Ohio Northern the 8-5 advantage going into the fourth period.
- After an ninth Polar Bear goal, Chatham found the net four consecutive times and tying it up 9-9 with just nine seconds left, to take it to overtime.
- Hoersten scored in 1:48 to win it for the Polar Bears in sudden death fashion.
- Senior Elena Martin (Canfield) and sophomore Jaxsyn Murdock (Galloway/Alder) both added a team-high three caused turnovers in the contest.
- Sophomore Kara Fox (South Euclid/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) added 10 saves and the win in goal for Northern.
- CU out-shot ONU 24-22 but ONU had the groundball advantage 26-21.
