ADA —The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team dropped a 17-10 home contest against Calvin (Mich.) on a chilly Saturday afternoon.

- Senior Elena Martin (Canfield) led ONU with five points on four goals and one assist.
- Senior Lydia Lehman (West Chester/Lakota West) had one goal and one assist in the contest.
- Lehman and sophomore Jaxsyn Murdock (Galloway/Alder) each found the back of the net in the first period for Northern.
- After a Calvin goal in the second period, Martin scored with 8:24 left to cut into the lead, making it 7-3.
- The Polar Bears went on a 3-0 run late in the second period, cutting the deficit to three, making 9-6.

- Fox earned her 200th career save at the 9:08 mark of the second period in today's contest.
- She finished with a game-high 16 saves, giving her 211 for her career, placing her fourth all-time.
- Martin has a team-best 51 draw controls this season and a school record 231.
- She is also second in points with 172, in caused turnovers with 87, and is third all-time in ONU history with 42 assists.
- Martin leads the Polar Bears in scoring this season with 42 points on 31 goals and 11 assists.
- Lehman is second with 25 points on 11 goals and 14 assists.
- Senior Emma Hoersten (Hilliard/Davidson) is second in ONU history in career goals with 135 and third in points with 166.
- She also has the ONU career record in free-position goals with 44.
- Head coach Margo Vandeveld is in her third season at Ohio Northern and has a 25-22 record, a winning percentage of .531.
