ADA — Senior Elena Martin (Canfield) led the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team with five goals and an assist in its 16-5 home opening win over Albion (Mich.) on a chilly Wednesday night.

- Senior Emma Hoersten (Hilliard/Davidson) added three goals for Northern.
- Martin and Hoersten scored to give ONU a 3-1 lead in the first period.
- The Orange and Black opened the second period on a 3-0 run to extended the lead to 6-1.
- Junior Abbi Arnold (Pickerington/Central) and sophomore Jaxsyn Murdock (Galloway/Alder) each added two goals and assist in the contest.
- The Polar Bears opened the third period on a 4-0 run to make it 13-2 going into the fourth period.
- The Britions were led by Logan Hutchinson and Anna Huard with two goals each.
- ONU out-shot AC 44-15 and had the ground ball advantage 22-16.
