Preview: The Ohio Northern men's track and field team is set to compete in the 2016 Ohio Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Wilmington College ... The Polar Bears enter the meet 63-7 overall after winning the Polar Bear Invitational this past weekend ... Northern was led last week by sophomore Matt Molinaro who claimed a fourth place finish at the Jeese Owens Track Classic with a season best time of 1:50.20 ... Sophomores Bobby Borger, Conner Karg, Brandon Emert and freshman Ian McVey also had a successful weekend claiming first place finishes in their respective events ... During the Indoor Championships, ONU garnered a second place finish with 135 points ... Mount Union won the meet with 158.5 points, while Otterbein claimed third with 103 points ... The Outdoor Championships are scheduled to begin Friday at noon with field events, followed by running events at 4:10 pm ... Saturday events begin at 10 am.
