Foster, Locke named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region Teams, Foster named Scholar All-America

ADA — Ohio Northern fifth-year senior Tanner Locke (Canton, Mich./Salem) and senior Gage Foster (Mason) were named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region Teams for the 2025 season.
Foster was named First Team Scholar All-Region and Locke was a Second Team selection.
Foster was also named First Team Scholar All-America by the United Soccer Coaches.
Earlier this season, Foster earned Second Team All-America honors, Third Team Academic All-America accolades, was named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators, was named First Team All-Region by the United Soccer Coaches and was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year.
He had 14 points off three goals and a team-high eight assists on the season.
Foster, a mechanical engineering major, ends his career with 35 points off nine goals and 17 assists in 62 matches.
Locke was named Second Team All-Region by the United Soccer Coaches, earned CSC Academic All-District honors and was named First Team All-OAC earlier this season.
He had seven points off two goals and three assists on the season.
In his career, the marketing and sport management double major played in 72 matches with 66 starts and has 22 points off five goals and 12 assists.
Foster will be recognized for his accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pa.
The Polar Bears had their first undefeated season in ONU history and won their 10th OAC Regular Season title with a 12-0-7 overall record and 6-0-2 OAC record under seventh-year head coach Chris Matejka.
