Volleyball ranked No. 24 in Week 3 AVCA Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team is ranked No. 24 in the AVCA/TARAFLEX NCAA Division III Volleyball Week 3 Poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The Polar Bears received 332 points in the poll and dropped one spot from last week when they received 228 points and were ranked 23rd nationally.
ONU is coming off a 3-1 week that saw the team score wins over Bluffton, Case Western Reserve and Albion (Mich.) while falling in a tough, five-set battle with Calvin (Mich.), which is ranked No. 4 in this week's poll.
Defending national champion Juniata (Pa.) is the top-ranked team in this week's poll, and Hope (Mich.) is No. 2.
Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Calvin and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Calif.) round out the top five.
The Polar Bears (9-2 overall) return to action on Friday for games against No. 19 Mt. St. Joseph and No. 17 Transylvania (Ky.) in the OAC/HCAC Challenge at Otterbein.
