DEFIANCE — The No. 25-ranked Ohio Northern volleyball team ran its winning streak to seven matches with a 25-19, 25-13, 25-18 victory at area-rival Defiance on Tuesday night at the Weaner Center.

The Polar Bears improve to 14-4 overall, while the Yellow Jackets fall to 4-14.

It was also the second consecutive win for ONU over DC, as the Polar Bears posted a 3-1 win over Defiance in the final match of the OAC/HCAC Challenge on Saturday at Muskingum.

More details from the match will be posted when they become available on Wednesday afternoon.

The Polar Bears will open Ohio Athletic Conference play on Saturday when they play host to John Carroll at 1 pm at the ONU Sports Center.
