BEREA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team defeated Baldwin Wallace Tuesday evening 25-12, 25-13, 25-12 at the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium.
The Polar Bears improve to 17-9 overall and are 5-3 in Ohio Athletic Conference play, while Baldwin Wallace falls to 15-13, 3-5.
Junior Ellie Gillespie and freshman Hannah Davis led Ohio Northern with nine kills a piece, while sophomore Kristin Sessler had eight.
Sophomore Ashley Borchers dished out 33 assists and Sessler added 16 digs for the Polar Bears.
Baldwin Wallace was led by Anna Miley with eight kills and Markema Winters and Lauryn Wright with 5 kills each.
Ohio Northern hit .302 as a team with 42 kills on seven errors. Baldwin Wallace hit .016 as a team with 27 kills on 25 errors.
ONU will close out regular season play Saturday afternoon as they host Marietta for Senior Day.
The OAC Tournament will start Nov. 4 with quaterfinal play at campus sites.
