Three members of Women's Outdoor Track and Field team open season at Washington University's Distance Carnival

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Three members of the Ohio Northern women's outdoor track & field team competed at Washington University's Distance Carnival to kick off the outdoor season Thursday and Friday.

Top ONU Performers

• Senior Natalie Armbruster (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) was 25th of 50 in the 3,000-meter steeple chase in 11:20.93 and was 138th of 173 in the 5k in 18:42.91.
• Senior Samantha Roth (Brunswick) was 63rd in the 5000 in 17:47.80.
• Junior AnnaSophia Gower (Perrysburg) was 43rd on the 3000 steeple in 11:47.88 and was 129th in the 5k in 18:37.46.

• The two-day championships consist of 5 distance events: the 5000m run, 10000m, 3000m steeple chase, 800m, and 1500m.
• Armbruster holds the ONU record for the 3000m steeple chase with her time of 11:16.04 on 5/9/25.
• She is ranked 16th nationally this season with her 11:20.93 effort.
• Roth is now #8 all-time in ONU history in the 5k with her 17:47.80.
