INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Women's Indoor Track & Field team took its talents to the national stage, excelling at the Indy Fairgrounds Invitational this Friday and Saturday.
The Basics

- Senior Claire Schweller (Paulding) finished 4th in the pole vault with a jump of 3.84 meters.
- Senior Ellie Ford (Upper Arlington) took 6th in the pole vault, jumping 3.64 meters.
- Sophomore Avery Baker-Schlendering (Freeport, Maine) jumped 1.63 meters to take 7th in the high jump.
- Junior Katelyn Wagner (Sycamore/Wynford) heaved 13.30 meters in the shot put on Friday to take 9th place, and she heaved 12.51 meters to take 8th on Saturday.
- Junior Anna Brady (Sidney) took 7th in the shot put on Friday, throwing 13.81 meters, and took 9th in the shot put on Saturday, throwing 12.15 meters.
- Senior Riley Heitkamp (Fort Loramie) was 10th in the high jump with a leap of 1.59 meters.

- Schweller is currently ranked fourth nationally in the pole vault with a season-best of 3.97 meters.
- The team is a split-squad this weekend, as the Polar Bears also had athletes compete Friday at the Trine (Ind.) Invitational.
- Head Coach Jason Maus is in his 17th year at Ohio Northern and is 624-180-1 in women's indoor track and field for a winning percentage of .774. He is ONU's all-time winningest coach in track and field history.
