Senior Claire Schweller named OAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Claire Schweller (Paulding) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 12-18.

This is Schweller's fourth time receiving the honor in her career.

The recognition comes after winning the pole vault by clearing 3.71 meters at the 2nd Annual Rob and Patty Lydic Invitational on Friday evening.

Schweller ranks 2nd all-time at ONU in the indoor pole vault at 3.94 meters.

The Polar Bears (8-2 Overall) return to action Friday when they travel to the Hillsdale (Mich.) Wide Track Classic.
