Saturday's Meet: The Ohio Northern women's track and field team will continue its 2021 outdoor season on Saturday by hosting the Polar Bear Invitational at Kerscher Stadium ... Wilmington, Heidelberg, Capital and Otterbein are slated to join Ohio Northern with field events starting at Noon and running events at 4 pm ... The top 6 places will score points in the team standings (10-8-6-4-2-1) ... The Polar Bears are coming off a second place finish at the Otterbein April Fools Invitational last Saturday ... Junior Kayla Silva broke the school record in the 200-meter dash in :24.45, breaking the previous record of :24.54 set in 2018 by Taylor Lavey ... Senior Kylie Vestal led a 1-2-3 ONU finish in the 1500, winning in 4:51.80 ... Senior Megan Wright was second in 4:58.83 and sophomore Kamryn Rhodes was third in 4:59.18 ... Ohio Northern also had a 1-2-3 finish in the javelin with freshman Hope Stanley (Geneva) winning with a toss of 29.30 meters ... Freshman Juliet Palmer was second at 24.59 meters and junior Mackenzie Detmer was third at 23.84 meters ... Junior Taylor Ellerbrock and sophomore Lexi Neff finished 1-2 in the 800 in 2:22.47 and 2:23.78, respectively ... Freshman Natalie Garrett was second in the hammer throw with a toss of 43.60.
