Sophomore Emily Richards named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week

ADA — Sophomore Emily Richards was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.
The sophomore won the 400-meter run at the Centre (Ky.) Invitational setting a new school and meet record with a time of 56.79.
She broke the previous school record of 57.20 set by Erin Hipp.
Richards also teamed up with junior Allie Gast, junior Meagan Ellinger and senior Kristine Wagner to claim first place in the 4x100 with a new school record time of 49.60, breaking the previous time of 49.66.
Northern returns to action Saturday as they compete as they compete at the Marv Frye Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.
