Members of Track & Field compete at Ohio State Tune-Up

COLUMBUS — Freshman Emily Richards finishes 4th in the 800-meter run to lead select members of the Ohio Northern Track & Field team Friday at the Ohio State Tune-Up.
The freshman moves into second all-time in school history in the event completing the race in 2:16.49 breaking the previous record of 2:19.72 set by Shayla Siefker in 2012.
Senior Gabrielle Metzner also competed in the meet, running in the 60-meter hurdles and 200-meter dash respectively.
The senior finished 18th in the 200-meter run in 27.29.
The Polar Bears are next in action Friday as they travel to Capital for the OAC Championships.
