Women's Distance Medley Relay team breaks school record at Buckeye Tune Up

COLUMBUS -- The Ohio Northern women's distance medley relay team broke the school record on Friday night at the Buckeye Tune Up hosted by Ohio State.
The event was unscored.
The DMR tandem of seniors Lydia Weaver, Jordan Buchanan and Alison Steinbrunner and sophomore Catie Huber finished in 12:04.59, bettering the record of 12:17.26.
The time is also the fifth fastest in the nation this season.
Junior Josh Colbert posted a leap of 6.70 meters in the long jump and junior Francisque Pierre-Jerome posted a time of 7.14 seconds in the 60 meter dash.
Ohio Northern will have runners compete on Saturday at the Meindel Last Call at Capital.
The Polar Bears will then host the OAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 22 and February 23.
