Freshman Lauren Okrainec named OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Lauren Okrainec (Ingersoll, ON, Canada/Homeschool) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Apr. 7-13.

The recognition comes after winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles in a 7-0 sweep of Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday and winning 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles in a 6-1 victory at John Carroll on Saturday.

This is Okrainec's second time receiving the honor this season.

The Polar Bears (13-3 overall, 2-0 OAC) return to action on Wednesday when they host Otterbein at 3:30 p.m.
