Women’s Tennis picked to finish third in 2023 OAC Coaches Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team was picked to finish third in the Ohio Athletic Conference Coaches Poll in voting conducted by the league's eight head coaches.
Northern received 40 points and one first-place vote.
Otterbein was picked to win the league with 48 points and six first-place votes, and John Carroll was picked to finish second with 41 points and one first-place vote.
The Polar Bears, under first-year head coach Sean Swisher, went 2-0 in the fall portion of their 2022-23 schedule. They are coming off a 2021-22 season that saw them finish as the runner-up to Otterbein in the OAC Tournament as part of a 19-7 overall record.
Northern opens the spring portion of its schedule on Feb. 17 at home against Hope (Mich.).
