Junior Ashley Ochsenhirt named OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ADA — For the second time this season, junior Ashley Ochsenhirt (Birmingham, Ala./Briarwood Christian) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Ochsenhirt earned the honor for the fifth time in her career.

The junior led ONU this week at the OAC Tennis Fest, going a perfect 6-0 during the week, lifting ONU to a perfect 4-0 week.

Ochsenhirt was 3-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles play and was the deciding match in ONU's thrilling 5-4 victory over OAC-foe Otterbein.

The Polar Bears will travel to Oberlin on Tuesday afternoon to take on the Yeoman at 4:30 p.m.
