Women's Swimming and Diving remains in third place after third day of OAC Championships

AKRON — Sophomore Kate Kalmanowicz (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock) and freshman Catherine Greenlee (Fort Wayne, Ind./Carroll) earned All-Conference honors to lead the Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team on the third day of the 2026 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships meet on Friday.
The Basics
- Records Ohio Northern (3-5 overall, 2-2 OAC).
- Ohio Northern is third of five teams with 326 points through 13 of the 20 events.
- Mount Union leads the team standings with 618 points, Baldwin Wallace is second with 508 points,Heidelberg is fourth with 278 points and Wilmington is fifth with 210 points.

ONU Individual Highlights
- Kalmanowicz was All-Conference in the 400 I.M., finishing third in 4:54.82.
- Greenlee earned All-Conference honors in the 100 fly in :59.36.
- Sophomore Abby Leatherman (Findlay/Van Buren) placed fourth in the 100 breast in 1:10.76.
- Kalmanowicz, Leatherman and Greenlee also combined with freshman Chloe Schopperth (Centerville) to finish third in the 200 medley relay in 1:52.71.
- Sophomore Gillian Yoder (Waterville/Anthony Wayne) was sixth in the 3-meter diving with 293.65 points.
Notables
- The meet consists of 20 events over four days, including 13 individual races, two diving events and five relays.
- Greenlee is now fifth all-time in the 100 fly at :59.36.
- The top three individuals and the top two relay teams in each event earn All-Conference honors.
- Austin Veltman is 33-36 in his eighth season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
