Sophomore Abby Leatherman named OAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Abby Leatherman (Findlay/Van Buren) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for the week of Nov. 10-16.

This marks her fourth career OAC Swimmer of the Week accolade and second this season.

The latest recognition comes after winning the 100 breast and placing second in two events at the Ohio Wesleyan Tri-Meet on Friday night.

She won the 100 breast in 1:12.87, was second in the 100 I.M. in 1:05.23 and was second in the 100 free in :58.12.

Northern finished second of three at the meet.

The Polar Bears (3-1 Overall, 2-0 OAC) return to action on Friday at the three-day Wabash (Ind.) Invitational.
