Women's Soccer to open 2026 schedule Sept. 1 at Wittenberg

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team will open its 2026 season on Sept. 1 with a road match at Wittenberg under fourth-year head coach Ben Tierney.
Northern will open its home schedule Sept. 6 against Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) at Kerscher Stadium.
The Polar Bears will then head out on a four-game road trip with contests at RIT (N.Y.) on Sept. 12, at Nazareth (N.Y.) on Sept. 13, at Hope (Mich.) on Sept. 19 and at Denison on Sept. 22.
Home matches with Calvin (Mich.) on Sept. 26 and Wooster on Sept. 30 wrap up the non-conference schedule.
The Polar Bears open Ohio Athletic Conference play when they host Marietta on Oct. 3.
Northern will also host conference foes Baldwin Wallace, Heidelberg and Capital.
ONU will travel to Wilmington, Muskingum, Otterbein and Mount Union to finish Conference play.
The six-team OAC Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 3-8.
ONU was 8-9-3 overall and 4-3-1 in the OAC and finished as OAC Tournament runners-up in 2025.
