Cannon, Hennegan, Beachy named to OAC Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Haley Cannon (Oregon/Clay), junior Caroline Hennegan (Delaware/Olentangy) and freshman Sarah Beachy (Springboro) were named to the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team for 2025.

The No. 5-seeded Polar Bears tied No. 4-seeded Mount Union 1-1 in the quarterfinals, then ONU advanced 5-3 on penalty kicks. ONU then defeated top-seeded Otterbein 1-0 in the semifinals before falling 3-2 to No. 3-seeded Wilmington in the finals.

Cannon made the final penalty kick in the Mount Union match to send the Polar Bears to the semifinals.

Beachy scored the lone goal in the Otterbein match off a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.

Hennegan led ONU's defensive effort from her defender position in all three matches.

The Polar Bears finished the season at 7-9-4 overall and 4-3-1 in the OAC.
