Women's Soccer to open 2016 season at Kenyon

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team will open the 2016 season Sept. 1 at Kenyon under 13th-year head coach Mark Batman.
The Polar Bears will then host a trio of home contest, taking on Bluffton on Sept. 3 at 1 pm, Mt. St. Joseph on Sept. 9 at 7 pm, and Transylvania (Ky.) on Sept. 10 at 5 pm.
Northern will then travel to 2015 NCAA qualifier Denison on Sept. 14.
The non-conference portion of the schedule also features Case Western Reserve on Sept. 17, Wooster on Sept. 20 and 2015 NCAA qualifier Thomas More (Ky.) on Sept. 23.
The Polar Bears open conference play Oct. 1 as they travel to Mount Union.
ONU will play host to Capital, Heidelberg, Wilmington and Marietta in OAC action.
The OAC Tournament is slated for Nov. 1-5.
The Polar Bears went 12-7-2 overall and finished runner-up in the OAC with a 7-2-0 mark in 2015.
