Sophomore Myles Johnson national ranked No. 6 at 197 pounds by NWCA in preseason rankings

ADA — Sophomore Myles Johnson (Springboro) is ranked No. 6 at 197 pounds by the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Preseason Individual National Rankings for the 2025-26 season.

Myles went 39-6 with nine pins, 17 tech falls and five major decisions at heavyweight as a freshman and earned 1st Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference after a 7-0 record in the OAC.

Johnson earned a bid to the NCAA III Championships last season after placing second at the NCAA Region 4 Championships.

He also placed first at the ONU Invitational, third at the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational, and 4thfourthat the Mount Union Invitational last season.

The Polar Bears begin the 2025-26 season on Saturday at the Mount Union Invitational at 10 am.
