Four Wrestlers recognized as Scholar All-Americans by National Wrestlers Coaches Association

ADA — The National Wrestlers Coaches Association released its Top 25 Scholar All-American Teams and its Scholar All-Americans. Ohio Northern had representation for both honors.

The Polar Bears as a team owned a 3.453 team GPA, which garnered them the All-American Team honor. A quartet off individuals reeled in Scholar All-American award, as well.

Seniors Jeff Andrews (New Baltimore, Mich./Anchor Bay) and Seth Transue (Plain City/Jerome), sophomore Connor Kwiat (Bloomville/Tiffin Calvert) and freshman Chase Sumner (Ada) were all honored for their work in the classroom. 

Northern finished the season with a 14-8 overall record, sending three to the National Meet.
