The 2014 NCAA Division III Championships: Junior heavyweight Cody Lovejoy will compete at the NCAA Division III Championships Friday-Saturday at US Cellular Arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa ... This will mark the second appearance at the championships for Lovejoy, who posted an 0-2 record as a sophomore in 2013 ... The top eight placers in each of the 10 weight classes earn All-America honors... Lovejoy is the No. 5 seed at heavyweight ... He leads the team with a 40-3 record and ranks second nationally with 24 pins ... He also stands as the fourth-most dominant wrestler in Division III, averaging 4.79 team points per match this season ... Lovejoy, a pharmacy major, also won last year's Elite 89 Award as the competitor at the championships with the highest GPA ... That honor is expected to be announced this year on Saturday night prior to the finals ... He is a three-time All-OAC honoree and qualified for the NCAA Championships.
