Martin, Fox named Second Team All-OAC in Women's Lacrosse

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Elena Martin (Canfield) and sophomore Kara Fox (South Euclid/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) were named Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference in Women's Lacrosse for the 2026 season.
Martin led the Polar Bears in scoring this season with 68 points on 52 goals and 16 assists. She also led the team with 77 draw controls, 34 caused turnovers and was second with 47 ground balls. She ranks third in the OAC in goals and tied for third in points.
In her career, Martin is the all-time career goals leader with 151. She also has the school record with 257 draw controls. She is also second in career points with 198, in caused turnovers with 96 and assists with 47.
Fox posted 152 saves for a save percentage of .438 and had an 11.01 GAA. She led the OAC in saves and ranked second with 8.44 saves per game, fourth in save percentage and sixth in GAA.
In two years at ONU, Fox has played in 35 games with 32 starts and has 257 saves, a .421 save percentage and an 11.86 GAA. She ranks second all-time at ONU with 17 wins, fourth in saves, fourth in GAA and fourth in goalie minutes with 1785:35.
The Polar Bears finished 9-9 Overall and 3-3 in the OAC and made it to the OAC Tournament for the sixth time in program history under third-year head coach Margo Vandeveld.
