Freshman Rylie Kocik named OAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Rylie Kocik (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 27 to March 5.
This is Kocik's first career OAC Player of the Week accolade.
The recognition comes after she tallied 12 points on 11 goals and one assist to lead the Polar Bears to a 2-0 week with wins of 17-8 over Trine (Ind.) and 17-4 over Division II West Virginia Wesleyan to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Kocik posted six goals and one assist against Trine and added five goals against West Virginia Wesleyan, leading ONU in both games.
She is currently tied for fourth in the OAC with 15 goals on the season.
The Polar Bears return to action on Wednesday hosting Adrian (Mich.) at 7 p.m.
