Women's Golf holds two shot lead after Day 2 of OAC Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE — The Ohio Northern women's golf team holds a two shot lead after the second round of the 2026 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern is first of eight teams after 336 of the 54 holes with a 330-323—653.
- ONU Season Record: 43-25 Overall.
- Otterbein is second two shots back with a 338-317—655, Mount Union is third at 328-333—661 and Heidelberg is fourth at 336-330—666.

ONU Individuals
- Sophomore Mallory Meister (Milan/Edison) carded a 4-over par 76 on Saturday to lead the Polar Bears.
- She is tied for third out of 40 golfers overall with an 85-76—161 on the par-72, 5864-yard course.
- Senior Marisa Alfes (Bellbrook) is tied for sixth with an 82-81—163.
- Freshman Addison Williams (Bristolville/Bristol) is eighth with an 82-82—164,
- Sophomore Taylor Blackburn (Liberty Township/Lakota West) is tied for ninth with an 81-84—166.
- Freshman Myra Batra (New Delhi, India/Shiv Nadar School) is tied for 29th with an 88-96—174.
Notables
- The OAC Championships are 54 holes with 18 being played Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- The top five individual finishers earn All-OAC Tournament Team honors.
- The OAC team champion receives the league's automatic bid to the NCAA III Championships May 19-22 at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, Calif.
- Ohio Northern has won the 2007 and 2021 OAC Championships titles.
