Senior Marisa Alfes named OAC Women's Golfer of the Week for third time this season

ADA — Senior Marisa Alfes (Bellbrook) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the week of Apr. 8-14.

This is her fourth time receiving the honor in her career and third time this season.

The latest recognition comes after she claimed Medalist honors at the OAC Preview on Monday.

Alfes finished 1st out of 52 golfers with a 9-over-par 81 on the par-72, 5,864-yard course.

ONU finished 4th of eight teams with a total of 353.

Alfes maintains the team's low 18-hole average this season of 77.4.

In her career, she has an average of 79.5, which is the second-lowest all-time in ONU history.

The Polar Bears (43-25 Overall) will return to action May 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the OAC Championships.
