Amelia Burger named OAC Women's Golfer of the Week

ADA — Senior Amelia Burger (Centerville) was named the OAC Women's Golfer Player of the Week for the week of April 1-7.

Burger was Co-Medalist with teammate Marisa Alfes (Bellbrook) with an 81-79—160 at the Jimmy Hanlin Golf Classic on Sunday and Monday.

She also finished second of 29 at the Heidelberg Invitational with a 78 on Friday.

This season, Burger shares the team lead with an 80.5 average for 14 rounds.

This is the second time this season and the fourth time in her career that Burger has won the award.

The Polar Bears will return to action Monday at the OAC Spring Preview at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio.
