This Weekend's Dual Match: The Ohio Northern women's golf team will swrap up its fall season with a dual match against Ohio Wesleyan at the North Star Golf Club in Sunbury ... Sophomore Lydia Cranmer fired a final round career-low 74 to win Medalist honors and lead Ohio Northern to victory at the 8-team Bluffton Fall Classic last weekend ... The Polar Bears finished with a 345-342—687 to edge Franklin (Ind.) by three strokes ... Cranmer was in third place after Saturday's first round with an 11-over par 83 at the Bluffton Golf Club, but fired a 2-over par 74 on Sunday at Hidden Creek Golf Club to win Medalist honors by three shots over Megg Hensler of Franklin and Kaitlyn Cook of Manchester (Ind.) ... Cranmer tied her previous 36-hole low score with her 83-74—157 ... This was Cranmer's fourth tournament title in 11 career tournaments and her second in three outings this fall ... Senior Caitlin Silva was seventh out of 44 golfers with an 83-88—171, freshman Emily McLaughlin tied for 10th with an 89-89—178, senior Suzanne Short tied for 13th with a 90-91—181, tied for 19th with a 91-93—184 and sophomore Hayley Watkins tied for 26th with a 93-99—192 ... Thus far this season, Cranmer leads the Polar Bears in scoring with an 82.0 average for 6 rounds ... Short is second at 88.2, Silva is third at 89.2 and McLaughlin is fourth at 92.8 ... Ohio Wesleyan is coming off a 9th place finish at the 13-team Bridgewater (Va.) Invitational on Sept. 22 ... The Bishops finished with a 355 for 18 holes ... Junior Alexis Reichardt finished as part of a 5-way tie for sixth place with a 79 ... Reichardt leads OWU with a 79.8 average for four rounds this fall.
