Women's Golf finishes fifth of seven at Otterbein Fall Classic

WESTERVILLE — Freshman Megan Conley led the Ohio Northern women's golf team to a fifth place finish at the Otterbein Fall Classic Saturday at Little Turtle Country Club.
The Polar Bears (9-9 overall) finished fifth out of seven teams with a 441.
Otterbein won the team title with a 365, John Carroll was second with a 394 and Mount Union was third with a 396.
Conley carded a 98 on the par-72, 6117-yard course to finish tied for 11th, playing in windy and wet conditions.
Senior Emily Gedert and freshman Allison Fye tied for 16th with 100s and freshman Kaitlyn Nestel was 31st with a 143 and senior Abby Ricket was 32nd with a 150.
Mount Union's Mary Snode won Medalist honors with an 81.
The Polar Bears will return to action Sunday at the Capital Fall Invitational.
