Women's Basketball receives votes in WBCA Top 25 Poll for Jan. 9

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team received votes in this week's WBCA Division III Top 25 Poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The Polar Bears received nine points in the poll and are fifth in the "others receiving votes" section after receiving six points in the previous poll.
Elsewhere in the Ohio Athletic Conference, Baldwin Wallace is No. 25 with 21 points, and Marietta is seventh in the "others receiving votes" section with five points.
New York University, Transylvania (Ky.) and Rhode Island College are the top three teams in this week's poll.
The Polar Bears (8-4 overall, 6-0 OAC) have won seven of their past eight games coming off Saturday's 57-47 victory over Muskingum.
Northern returns to action on Wednesday at No. 25 Baldwin Wallace (10-3 overall, 6-0 OAC) in a battle of conference leaders.
