No. 18 Women's Basketball to host first two rounds of NCAA III Tournament; will play Berea (Ky.) on Friday at 8 pm

ADA — The No. 18-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team will host the first two rounds of the 2023 NCAA III Tournament Friday and Saturday at the ONU Sports Center.
Northern (23-4 overall) will host Berea (Ky.) (26-2) at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday.
Wisconsin-Oshkosh (19-8) and Washington & Lee (Va.) (22-6) will play in the other first round game at 5:30 p.m.
The two winners will play in the second round on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The Polar Bears are making their 10th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
Ohio Northern earned the Ohio Athletic Conference's automatic bid by winning the OAC Tournament title with a 60-45 victory over Marietta on Feb. 25.
The Polar Bears also won the OAC Regular Season title with a 15-3 record and were the No. 1-ranked team in Region 7.
ONU has now won five OAC Tournament titles and eight OAC Regular Season crowns.
Berea earned an automatic bid by winning the Collegiate Conference of the South Tournament over Piedmont (Ga.) 71-63. It was the first CCS Tournament title for the Mountaineers.
Oshkosh earned an at-large bid to the tournament after falling to No. 21 Wisconsin-Whitewater 65-57 in the semifinals of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday.
W&L won the automatic bid of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference with a 73-57 victory over Shenandoah (Va.) in the tournament finals on Sunday.
The Generals will be making their second straight and third overall appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
