Women's Basketball ranked No. 24 in latest D3Hoops.com poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team slid three spots to No. 24 in the twelfth weekly edition of the D3Hoops.com poll, released on Monday evening.
Northern (21-4 overall, 15-3 OAC) posted a 1-1 record last week, including a thrilling double overtime victory over Marietta that helped Northern clinch the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title outright and earn the No. 1 seed in this weeks OAC Tournament.
Ohio Northern received 46 points in the poll.
Amherst (Mass.) held the top spot with 624 points and 24 first place votes, while Wartburg (Iowa) is ranked second with 590 points and one first place vote, and Bowdoin (Maine) rounded out the top-3 with 568 points.
The Polar Bears return to action this evening as they host Wilmington in the quarterfinal round of the OAC Tournament at 6 pm.
