Women's Basketball ranked No. 10 for third consecutive week in eighth weekly D3Hoops.com poll, ranked No. 11 in WBCA poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team held steady at No. 10 in the eighth weekly D3Hoops.com poll, released on Monday evening, while the Polar Bears were ranked No. 11 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association for the second consecutive week.
After falling in their season-opener, the Polar Bears (16-1 overall, 10-0 OAC) have won 16 straight.
Ohio Northern received 386 points in the D3Hoops.com poll.
Amherst (Mass.) held the top spot with 620 points and 22 first place votes, while Wartburg (Iowa) is ranked second with 593 points and one first place vote, and Hope (Mich.) rounded out the top-3 with 563 points and one first place vote.
In the WBCA poll, Northern recieved 119 points, while Amherst (Mass.) was ranked No. 1 with 200 points and all eight first place votes, Hope (Mich.) was ranked No. 2 with 189 points and Bowdoin (Maine) claimed the third spot with 185 points.
The Polar Bears return to action Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm as they play host to Wilmington at the ONU Sports Center.
