Women's Basketball picked to finish second in OAC

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team was picked to finish second in the OAC Preseason Poll, in voting done by the league's 10 coaches.
The Polar Bears recieved 71 points and two first place votes.
Capital was chosen to finish first with 77 points and six first place votes, Ohio Northern was chosen second and Baldwin Wallace was third with 64 points and one first place vote.
Last season, the Polar Bears finished 23-6 overall and 14-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference and competed in the OAC Tournament finals.
The Polar Bears open their season on Nov. 15 at the Franklin (Ind.) Tip-Off Classic against Trine (Ind.) at 8 pm.
