Women's Basketball to open 2014-15 season Nov. 15-16 at Franklin (Ind.) Tip-Off Tournament

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team will open its 2014-15 season Nov. 15-16 at the Franklin (Ind.) Tip-Off Tournament.

The Polar Bears, under 14th-year head coach Michele Durand, will open the home portion of their schedule on Nov. 19 against Kenyon at the ONU Sports Center.

ONU will also host Defiance in the first game of a women's/men's double header on Nov. 25.

The double round-robin Ohio Athletic Conference slate gets underway Dec. 3 with a road tilt at Otterbein.

The OAC Tournament is slated for Feb. 23-28.

Ohio Northern finished the 2013-14 campaign with a 23-6 record, was third in the OAC with a 14-4 mark and advanced to the NCAA III Tournament for the second consecutive season.
