Heavy rains force postponement of two Softball twin-bills; Men's Lacrosse with Trine canceled

ADA — The Ohio Northern softball and men's lacrosse teams have had schedule changes caused by inclement weather this week.

Softball's two home double headers, Friday against Calvin (Mich.) and Saturday against No. 3-ranked Trine (Ind.), have been postponed due to heavy rains in the area.

The twin-bill against Calvin will now be March 30 at the ONU Softball Field and the two games with Trine will now be on Sunday on the road at Trine.

The men's lacrosse game with Trine was postponed on Wednesday night after two lightning delays totaling 1 hour and 43 minutes.

It was tentatively rescheduled for Thursday at 4 pm, but has since been canceled.

The Polar Bear men will now return to action Saturday at Mount Union in the Ohio Athletic Conference opener for both teams.
