Cross Country set to open 2026 season at Bluffton's Beaver Dam Invite September 4th

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's and men's cross country teams will each open their 2026 seasons on Sept. 4th at Bluffton's Beaver Dam Invite under 18th-year head coach Jason Maus.
The Polar Bears will compete in two other events in September.
The Spartan XC (Ind.) Invitational is Sept. 11th at Michigan State University, then Cedarville hosts the All Ohio Classic on Sept. 18th.
The Ohio Wesleyan XC Invite opens the month of October on the 2nd.
Northern will then travel to Virginia to compete in the Roanoke College Inter-Regional Border Battle on Oct. 17th to end the regular season.
The Polar Bears will compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Baldwin Wallace on Oct. 31st.
The NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships are scheduled for Nov. 14th at Olivet (Mich.) in East Lansing, Mich., and the NCAA III Championships will be run at Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., on Nov. 21.
In 2025, Northern's women won their 7th OAC title and were 83-13 overall, while ONU's men finished 78-20 overall and were fourth in the OAC.
