Three earn All-Conference honors as Men's Cross Country battles to fourth place finish at OAC Championships

WESTERVILLE — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team finished fourth of 9 teams at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Saturday morning at Otterbein.
The Basics

- The field consisted of 9 collegiate varsity teams from the OAC division.
- Otterbein won the team title with 40 points, Mount Union was second with 65 points, Baldwin Wallace was third with 67 points and Capital was fifth with 121 points.
Top ONU Performers
- Senior Jacob Clouse (Alvada/New Riegel) led the Polar Bears across the finish line in 25.27, finishing 2nd of 239 runners to earn First Team All-Conference honors.
- Sophomore Dudley Bravard (Beavercreek) was 13th in 26.04 to earn Second Team All-OAC honors.
- Sophomore Chris Bond (Franklin) was 19th in 26.15 to earn Second Team All-OAC honor.
- Junior Ryan Montross (Perrysburg) was 44th in 27.01.
- Freshman Carson Brown (Botkins) was 45th in 27.05.
Notables
- Bravard hits a personal best, shaving off .03 seconds of his previous time 26.07.
- This was ONU's 22nd consecutive upper division OAC finish.
- 17th-year head coach Jason Maus is now 1,655-435 as head coach of the ONU men's cross country program and is the winningest coach in program history.
