OBERLIN — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team finished 11th of 35 teams at the Oberlin Rumble on Saturday morning at the Oberlin North Fields Course.

The Polar Bears scored 336 points and improve to 59-29 on the season.

Junior Breydan Hann (Wooster) led Ohio Northern with a 55th place finish out of 306 runners in 27:04 for the 8,000-meter course.

Sophomore Kyle Roth (Rockford/Parkway) was 61st in 27:13, senior Cadeen Sauerbrey (Uniontown/Lake) was 68th in 27:18, junior Billy Driemeyer (House Springs, Mo./Lindbergh) was 72nd in 27:20 and senior Patrick Baker (Massillon/Jackson) was 101st in 27:45 for ONU.

No. 7-ranked John Carroll won the team title with 60 points, No. 8 Wisconsin-Whitewater was second with 67 points and No. 17 Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) with 103 points.

Alex Phillip of John Carroll won the individual title in 24:59.

 

The polar Bears will return to action Oct. 30 with the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Wilmington.
