Sophomore Ian McVey named OAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ADA — Sophomore Ian McVey was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for his efforts at the Bluffton 6k Friday evening.
McVey led the Polar Bears (7-0) across the finish line, finishing in 19:16.41 and placing fourth overall.
The sophomore earns his first OAC Runner of the Week honor.
Northern won the event with 34 points, while Findlay finished second with 69 points and Heidelberg took third with 94 points.
The Polar Bears will return to action Sept. 16 as they travel to East Lansing to compete in the Michigan State Spartan Invitational at 11:50 am.
