ADA — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team had two players named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in voting done by the leagues academic advisors.
Senior Nathan Rosenbaum and sophomore Cully Gordon received the honor.
The award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point-average of at least 3.50.
Rosenbaum, a mechanical engineering major, earns his third consecutive Academic All-OAC honor.
He is a four-time All-Conference performer, and was the fastest man on the squad this season with a career-low 24:43 for 8,000 meters.
Rosenbaum finished 7th at the NCAA III Great Lakes Regional Championships last weekend and will compete in his second consecutive NCAA III Championships this Saturday at The Golf Center at Kings Island in Mason.
Gordon earns his first academic All-OAC honor.
He ran a season-low 26:30 for 8,000 meters at the Calvin (Mich.) Knight Invitational meet and competed in four varsity races this season.
The Polar Bears posted their 16th consecutive winning season with a 120-37 record and finished third at the OAC Championships under sixth-year head coach Jason Maus.
