Senior Nathan Rosenbaum named OAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the third time in 2014

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Nathan Rosenbaum was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of Oct. 13-19.

It marks the third time this season and the fourth time in his career that Rosenbaum has earned the award.

He previously received the honor on Sept. 8 and Oct. 6 of this year and on Oct. 21, 2013.

Rosenbaum finished second of 291 runners in 25:28 over the 8,000-meter course to lead Ohio Northern to a 13th place finish at the 34-team Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday.

He has now led ONU across the finish line five times in six races this season.

The Polar Bears will be idle this week and will compete at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships on Nov. 1 at Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, Ohio.
