Freshman Cale Wilson breaks triple jump record in first career meet as Men's Indoor Track and Field cruises to win at annual Joe Banks Invitational

ADA — Freshman Cale Wilson (Clarksville/Clinton-Massie) made a lasting impression in his Polar Bear debut, breaking Ohio Northern's 26-year-old triple jump record as a part of the Men's Track & Field team's victory at the annual Joe Banks Invitational Friday night.
The Basics
- ONU was 1st of 9 varsity teams with 247 points.
- Record: Ohio Northern (22-4 Overall).
- Central State was 2nd with 127 points, Otterbein was third with 107 points and heidelberg was fourth with 69 points.

- Wilson's 14.25 in the triple jump broke the previous mark of 14.07 set in 2000 by All-American Phil Thomas.
