Ryan Massie sets school record in 3k, leads Men's Track and Field to victory in fifth annual Mike Becraft Invitational

ADA — Senior Ryan Massie (Beavercreek) broke the school record in the 3,000-meter run to lead the men's outdoor track and field team to a victory at the fifth annual Mike Becraft Invitational on a wet and windy Saturday.

- Ohio Northern finished first of 3 teams with 170 points.
- Manchester (Ind.) was second with 82 points and Bluffton was third with 66 points.

- Junior Connor Robbins (Marion/River Valley) won two events for the Polar Bears.
- He won the shot put at 14.50 meters and the hammer throw at 50.13 meters.
- Fifth-year senior Trey Myers (Dayton/Chaminade-Julienne) won the 400 in :49.53.
- Senior All-American Jordan Dean Cleveland/Villa Angela-Saint Joseph) won the 200 in :21.80.
- Senior Bo Little (Washington Court House/Miami Trace) won the 800 in 1:58.13.
- Junior Jacob Clouse (Alveda/New Riegel) won the 1,500-meter run in 4:06.61.
- Junior Brett Greer (Mentor) won the 100 in :10.90.
- Sophomore J.D. Dillman (Bethel) won the triple jump with a leap of 13.64 meters.
- Freshman Grayson Dowell (Waynesville) won the pole vault by clearing 4.41 meters.
- The 4x400 relay team of freshman Carter Black (Franklin), freshman Asu Pelima (Euclid/Villa Angela-Saint Joseph), freshman freshman Nathan Ogilbee (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) and freshman Andrew Woodruff (Riverdale/Arlington) won in 3:33.37.

- Dean won the 400 in :48.17, finishing first of 40 runners.
- Senior Trey Masterson (Tiffin/Hopewell-Loudon) was seventh of 16 in the 3,000 steeplechase in 10:11.49.
- Sophomore C.J. Boothby (Milford/Clermont Northeastern) won the 100 in :10.56 and was sixth of 38 in the long jump at 6.70 meters.
- Freshman Dylan Dowell (Mount Vernon) was fourth of 38 in the long jump at 6.81 meters and was 14th of 43 in the 100 in :10.93.

- Sophomore Oliver Hendricks (Vandalia/Butler) moves into fourth place all-time in ONU history in the 3000 by finishing second in 8:51.22.
- Senior Keefer McClure (Ottawa Hills) is now sixth all-time in ONU history in the 3000 by finishing third in 8:58.42.
- Robbins is now seventh all-time at ONU in the shot at 47' 7" and is eighth in the hammer at 164' 6".
- Boothby is now 10th all-time at ONU in the 200 after finishing second in :21.91.
- Dean is tied for 11th nationally in the 400 ranks in :47.41.
- Boothby is tied for 22nd nationally in the 100 with a school-record :10.52.
- Dillman is currently ranked No. 28 nationally in the event.
